Answer This Question

A:  When it comes to mantles, counter tops, shelving or anything else in your home that you want to support, proper installation is the key. It's imperative that the installer take the right steps to ensure structural stability within the wall or whatever surface you’re mounting to. As there are so many varying installation surfaces (masonry, wood, ect) and applications (mantels, countertops, granite, ect) there is not a set number they are rated for, as it varies by application. Q:What weight will a pair of these hold?

                Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question. These brackets are made out of 1/4 inch thick steel and are very strong but how they are installed, how many are being used, and what the application is are all factors that are equally important as the material when it comes to how much weight they can support. If you have a specific requirement, we would recommend consulting with an engineer who would be able to advise you on the best product for your application as well as help you design the project.
