A:  Hose fitting does fit on end of the new spigot but you dont say if your barrel is threaded or the size of thread so cant answer if new spigot will fit as direct replacement or you would need to modify.

A:  It the spigot the same as show above it should fit for regular garden hose.

A:  Try wrapping the threads with teflon tape.

A:  You will need to take it apart and replace existing washer with the same size. Washers vary in size and no way to know what size until you can look at it. Most places sell a pack with a few different sizes. Hope that helps

A:  No the barrel I have has a 3/4” hole. This spigot is 1/2”. I needed to purchase bushings to make them work

A:  This spigot was defective, plus it cannot be retired online. Waste of money.

A:  It should work fine. My husband installed one in about 10 minutes. It is working great. We have two of them.
