A:  The edges aren't sharp. It's made of aluminum, so no worries about rusting.

A:  No. The 3/4" measument is the top outside edge to edge.

A:  Any saw blade will work. Aluminum won't dull wood cutting blades due to its soft property. You could also use a hacksaw or a cut off saw if you have them.

A:  I didn't try to weld it, but I used a plasma cutter on it and it held up perfectly!
