    Q:Hav purchased bright white halogen bulbs for my torchiere lamps from different sellers ALL were a horrible yellow cast. Are these truly BRIGHT WHITE???

    A:  Those I bought were a Bright White and work very well as long as they lasted. They didn't last as long as I had hoped.

      A:  Thank you for your question, these are 2800K color temp, which will have some yellowish hue to it.

        A:  Don't know what you mean by bright white. Your interpretation may be different than the manufacturer standard. These bulbs are definitely bright but they aren't white light like you get from a florescent tube. Halogen bulbs tend to be slightly off white just because of the halogen gas in the bulb.Hooe this helps you.
