A:  I recently started using brass quick-connectors on all my hoses. To prevent the corrosion you're talking about with my one hose that has aluminum connectors, I leave both halves of a Melnor plastic quick-connector on that one all the time.

A:  I’m sure you can get an adapter in the hose parts section there the hose parts are like new ends or maybe a brass adapter in the plumbing section. I will say I have 4 of these hoses all various ages and have never had this problem before though.

A:  Your connectivity question is yes, the hoses regardless of length are compatible.  I own two of the 50 foot.  The hose is not as flexible as I thought it would be, after two years mine still wants to take it's original packaged rolled tight form.  It is not a very forgiving hose, and in cooler weather is almost impossible to contend with. In the summer I roll min out on the drive and let the sun do its magic, then it's very flexible.  As far as working, it works perfectly, no leaks no drips, etc.  A lighter hose would be one of the soft retractible compact hoses like the "Flexi-Hose".  I have two of those in a 25 foot length and use it with my standard hoses, those are interconnectible also and I've never had an issue with them, leaks, etc.  Good luck on you hose purchase and hope this info has helped!

A:  It should fit your facet... the hose is 5/8ths size which is a standard size to fit the standard size of outdoor faucets.

A:  No it won't. If you are interested in the hose, you might be able to get a 3/4" to 1/2" adapter.
