A:  Sg, Thank you for your question. The Franklin Brass Futura Wall-Mounted Toothbrush Holder in Brushed Nickel has a mounting bar that requires two screws to secure in place. As the manufacturer, we can not recommend installation without drilling. Best, Customer Care Team

A:  My entire bathroom is tiled and my handyman informed me that it was easy to install. He estimates that the screw mounts are approximately 1 1/4 far apart. I hope this helps.

Q:Will this accommodate a larger toothbrush? What is the size of the holes? Thanks!

                Answer This Question

A:  Not sre what a "larger" toothbrush is, but it holds most of the standard size adult toothbrushes made by top manufacturers, like OralB and Colgate. I was worried that the thicker handles on newer styles might not fit, but they seem flexible enough to slide in at least a half inch and are held in place to dry. Hope that help. The holes are about as big around as an average grown man's pinky finger
