A: Absolutely, Not sure if it's recommended but it made a dramatic difference at my old home. Difference being pipes freezing vs a pleasant side room.

A: Absolutely. Long as your furring strips are as thick or more than the insulation sheet.

A: I nailed mine into the studs before applying the siding on my house(cedar planks). But from what I think you're saying you want to do, I don't any problem with it whatsoever. Glue it, cut it tight to fit, etc, lay sides on it. It'll be fine, imho.

Q:I am enclosing a pole barn (wood frame trusses with 2"x4" ladd boards between the metal roofing and trusses ) can this be screwed directly to the ladd boards between each truss?

A: Happen to be considering the same thing, 28'x60' pole barn, 2x6 frame w/2x4 stringers. Roofer quoted me 8-10k to remove leaking metal and replace with shingles. Considering a DIY. Not sure if this material is dense enough to hold a screw so must ensure a stringer or Ladd board is engaged. Good luck with your project.
