Q:Is it possible that these are still the correct replacements for this particular panel that calls for TQL breakers? Not certain of the year of the panel, I'd wager late 60s to early 70s possibly.

Q:are these breakers able to be placed in a general Electric panel currently using type XR breakers? The breakers appears to be a blade slip and front lip catch design. I'm kind of surprised Manufactures don't just provide a compatibility chart. too EZ?

A: No it is not. GE breakers are only rated for GE panels. Cutler-Hammer breakers are compatible with Challenger panels.
