A:  Hello Tony, yes this is for use on Ferrous metals. The surface must be cleaned thoroughly to remove any dust, rust, and surface contaminants, and then painted.

A:  Not sure what Glidden is talking about in their answer to this question. They say yes but then say it is for use on ferrous metals. The product use and care information also specifies ferrous metals. Aluminum is a non-ferrous metal.
