Questions and Answers for Glacier Bay 20 in. W x 26 in. H Rectangular Medicine Cabinet with Mirror

A:  In surface mounted - two of mirrors are assembled in both sides using the bracket and 3M Tape.

A:  The best way to install wood before you put the sheet rock up is to figure the height of where you are going to install the cabinet, then put a 2x6 between the studs, one for the top and one for the bottom. Turn them so they are flat between the studs, witch will give you room to adjust up or down.

A:  The useable space behind the mirror is 3.5" The mirror itself is an additional inch. The surface mount adds another ~1/4 to 1/2 inch.

A:  It has a texture that is like brushed wood. It is nicer than the photo. It is neither copper nor pewter, but something in between. Here is a photo of it with a brushed nickel light fixture from HD.

A:  I'm redoing my bathroom in the Glacier Bay amber vanity, which has brushed nickel faucet, and this medicine cabinet. The brushed nickel and the bronze complement each other quite nicely. The attached picture can give you an idea. It looks nice but the effect is even better in reality than in the picture. The actual tones are lighter for both the nickel and the bronze.

A:  Just purchased this medicine cabinet. I have brushed nickel hardware and this works nicely. My counter top on my vanity is black marble. The color of the medicine cabinet is nickel with black brush marks. I am not sure why it's called copper pewter. There is no copper in this cabinet. Very sturdy cabinet. Nice look. Recommended.

A:  Search all nearby Home Depot stores. When you find one that shows in stock, buy it quick online for store pickup then go get it, and don't take no for an answer if you are OK with taking the display model if that's all they have. These things are rare now, and worth some trouble as they are also awesome looking.

A:  The dimensions of the cabinet box are 18.5" x 25" (if anyone is installing this in a recessed mount, those are the dimensions you'll need). The hardware for surface mounting attaches to that box as well, the brackets are just on the outside instead of screws running through the inside. The mirror/front panel extends out a little further to be 20" x 26".
