A: not the best idea--it will scrape off unless prepare surface and use and excellent bonding agent.
Formica is not porous so it needs a way to attach.

A: If the plastic laminate (Formica) is not oily or greasy, and is clean, the paint should adhere if the surface is lightly sanded before painting. However, this is really a ceiling and wall paint, and might not be the best for painting plastic laminate.

A: You can put it over formica if the formica is a vertical surface not horizontal. This is a wall paint not a "countertop" surface. If you're going to paint it on a vertical surface you need a coat of bonding primer and then this on top.

A: I am not an expert but I would not just paint over Formica. There is likely a special process one needs to do first before painting a Formica surface. I would ask an Expert.

A: Time of cover???
by|Dec 26, 2018
A: I would not even try as there is no return on paint.
by|Dec 9, 2019
A: Jennifer I don't think you got the correct answer - you don't have to purchase exclusively online to get the rebate - if you follow the link to the rebate it give you all the eligible paints and does not state certain paints must be purchased online - paint is just not one of those things you can buy online :)
2) Online purchases:
Print and complete the rebate form. For online purchases, only mail-in rebate forms are accepted.
In-store purchases with valid receipt number:
To submit online, go to homedepotrebates.com. EACH SALES RECEIPT REQUIRES A SEPARATE ENTRY FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION.
OR
Print and complete the rebate form.
Hope this helps

Q:Can I use all new drywall unprimed
by|Mar 14, 2016

Answer This Question
A: I would not recommend the paint for unprimed drywall. It would take a lot of paint to cover.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Probably not. The joint compound areas will show slightly different in texture with only one coat. you will need to prime or use two coats.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Hi Bob. Yes you can but dude, the drywall will really suck up a lot of any paint. You really should prime it.
by|May 5, 2023
A: We would recommend using Gripper PVA Drywall Primer first on new primer then applying two coats of flat interior paint.

A: You can use a flat without a primer on new walls but suggest a paint and primer combination if using satin, eggshell, and gloss.
