A:  Antique brass and brown. Although first time they sent brushed nickel. So returned it to local store and they reordered directly from website ship to home no ship charges.

A:  No, there is no ball joint or hinge in the bracket to adjust the angle of the light. It would just stick out at an angle if mounted on a sloped ceiling.

A:  I think you could. I have 2 of these plus 3 of the pendant version. I really don't think you need to plan to make them darker though, mine are very dark. Looks black to me from the floor : )
