Q:What's the Battery life on the cameras?
by|Oct 3, 2023

Answer This Question
A: Hello there, Jmnt. The Nest Cam (battery) comes with a built-in rechargeable 6 Ah, 3.65V lithium-ion battery. The battery life you get depends on several things, like how much activity is recorded and your settings in the app. You would also need to factor in activity, temperature, and selected camera settings. An example of a busy scenario for your device is about 20 - 25 recorded events per day which would give you about 1.5 months battery life. A: Hello there! Thanks for your interest. Yes, a connection to a secure wireless network is required for the Nest cameras (and doorbells). The Nest cameras will go offline and won’t record or store videos if not connected to Wi-Fi. Answer This Question
A: Hi there, Bobby. Each of your Nest Cam (Battery) cameras will consume battery life differently and will not normally require charging at the same time due to differences in usage and recording activities. Therefore, a single cable was provided to charge both of your Nest cameras at different times.
