A:  Yes the lids do fit the pans. These pans are sturdy and I really like them, just remember if you fry food and afterwards your pan is black, BAKING SODA + Dawn will clean all the bad stuff off.

A:  They get a little warm, but they do not conduct heat well. So, you can easily touch it without a pot holder. I originally had the same concerns, but with dozens of uses, I can say that is not a problem.
