Q:Hello,
I would like to know what's the difference between (Husky-fire retardant vrs regular poly sheeting 6mm) both materials look the same but one isn't due to a fire retardant material. But upon close inspection they both look closely matched.

The key importance is our 6 mil flame retardant sheeting is also made with a special coat to prevent the start or slow the growth of fire. A: This Husky plastic sheeting is a general-purpose plastic film typically used under concrete slabs, in-between drywall as a vapor barrier, etc. This product does not contain any UV inhibitors and is not intended for prolonged exposure to sunlight. The industry relies instead on dart impact values performed via ASTM D1709 for which the 6mil spec value is 260 grams.
