Q:How do you change the lightbulb on this fan?

A:  Thank you for your question. This fan uses an integrated LED module and is not compatible with any alternate lights. The shade is a twist off shade counter clockwise. If the module ever fails, a replacement can be ordered by calling Home Decorators Collection customer service at 1-800-986-3460.

      A:  Thank you for your question. The housing material is steel. The fan is rated damp for outdoor covered areas. Due to varying climatic conditions we can not guarantee over the years it will not rust.

        A:  Thank you for your question. This fan is damp rated for use outdoors in covered areas and features an integrated 17.5-watt LED module light kit so it is virtually maintenance-free with no bulbs to replace.

          A:  Thank you for your question. No, this fan is not a smart fan. Smart features can be added by adding the Bond Hub (BD-1000). The Bond hub acts as a translator between your fan's remote and smart devices like phone or tablet and allows for voice control once synced with Alexa or Google Assistant devices.

              A:  Thank you for your question. With this fan you can only use a toggle on/off wall switch. No dimmers or variable switches. This fan has a remote control to change the fan speeds and dim the light.

                Q:My 3 speed fans (2)only rotates one speed. The light bar on the remote illuminates as if three speeds, but the fan blades only rotates one speed. Is there a wiring, programming, or electrical issue? What can I do to correct?

                A:  Thank you for your question. The receiver can be wired to a standard on/off switch which would allow you to use the switch to turn the fan and light on/off. The fan can not be used in conjunction with a wall mounted speed control.The full installation video is located on the product page.
