        A:  Thank you for your question. It is required that a minimum 3/8" (10mm) expansion gap be left around the perimeter of your floor and next to any vertical objects such as cabinets, plumbing, etc.

          A:  Laminate flooring is very susceptible to water damage and should not be used in areas where water spillage is possible thus it should not be used in a kitchen or bathroom. Mike
