It is important to note that a wired dual switch will not operate as expected. The first switch will act as a breaker for the fan and light, this must remote in the ON position for the second switch or the remote to work. This is due to the integrated receiver. However, you can add a remote wall switch to this fan, which would allow you to operate the fan and light with either the handheld remote or the remote wall switch.
