Q:What's the difference between using this and paint thinner to clean your brushes?

Answer This Question
A: To be honest I cant answer from a chemical perspective but as a decorative painter for many years I can. If you are using a water based product then immediately after use tap water is fine, if oil then Min spirits soon after use, but if your brush or whatever needs a little more help, like you forgot about the brush or brushes and they feel hard not soft let them steep in the Brush cleaner for a few hours or even over night it dissolves matter in a way Min spirits cant.

A: I read info on both cans. Paint thinner seemed to be better suited for brushes that didn’t have dried paint/polyurethane. I bought the brush cleaner because my brushes already had dried residue. It cleaned them.
