Questions and Answers for Klein Tools Manual Ranging Digital Multimeter

A:  No you cannot use this item to test a capacitor it does not have the capability of reading microfarads. This multimeter has no mfd symbol. Do not buy this product it is terrible doesn’t even work and I tried returning the very next day n was told it cannot be exchanged or returned no refund not even store credit

A:  The MM300 Multimeter does not test capacitance. For a multimeter that tests capacitance, please see Klein Tools model # MM400 600V Auto-Ranging Digital Multimeter

A:  No. It is not for using in the dark.

A:  The MM300 Multimeter does not feature a backlit display. Please see Klein Tools model # MM400, MM600, or MM700 for a backlit display.

A:  It can be used to check fuses and includes a manual. The instructions can be found in the “product brochure” document under Info & Guides.

A:  It came with information on the back of the packaging. As for a manual no it had none.

A:  The Klein Tools MM300 Multimeter will measure DC millivolts, it does not measure AC millivolts.

A:  test leads are included with the multimeter

A:  Mine came with leads. They clip on the back of the meter for storage

A:  Yes. Quality was up to par.

A:  Yes, the Klein Tools MM300 Multimeter can measure DC milliamps.

A:  For this particular multi meter, you can measure between 200mA and 10A. Seems like this range should cover your application but, I am not sure of your specific range for your car that you need to be reading.

A:  I believe so, not positive (purchased them for a science lab, currently closed and unable to personally check one). If they are not available in the store to check in person, you could order one to pick up at the store, open the package and try it. If mAmp are measureable, then Home Depot is good about taking return items.

A:  The MM300 Multimeter does not come with a calibration certificate.

A:  I went thru the paperwork I rec'd and did not see a specific separate calibration certificate. I am 99.999 % certain each meter is calibrated at quality control check and recorded in conjunction with the specific serial # as part of ISO 9002 compliance.

A:  The Klein Tools MM300 Multimeter will measure DC millivolts.

A:  Yes it will. This model is also quite accurate.

A:  The input impedance is ~1MOhm
