The MM300 Multimeter is made in China.
Yes. Quality was up to par.
Yes, the Klein Tools MM300 Multimeter can measure DC milliamps.
For this particular multi meter, you can measure between 200mA and 10A. Seems like this range should cover your application but, I am not sure of your specific range for your car that you need to be reading.
I believe so, not positive (purchased them for a science lab, currently closed and unable to personally check one). If they are not available in the store to check in person, you could order one to pick up at the store, open the package and try it. If mAmp are measureable, then Home Depot is good about taking return items.
The MM300 Multimeter does not come with a calibration certificate.
I went thru the paperwork I rec'd and did not see a specific separate calibration certificate. I am 99.999 % certain each meter is calibrated at quality control check and recorded in conjunction with the specific serial # as part of ISO 9002 compliance.
The Klein Tools MM300 Multimeter will measure DC millivolts.
Yes it will. This model is also quite accurate.
The input impedance is ~1MOhm
Yes
Yes, the Klein Tools MM300 Multimeter has 2 replaceable fuses: 200mA/600V fast-blow fuse (Klein Cat. No. 69031) 10A/600V fast-blow fuse (Klein Cat. No. 69032)
This unit has 2 AC voltage ranges, up to 200VAC or up to 600VAC.
AC voltage is checked with the selector in the 1:00 and 2:00 range. First position to right is 600V and next position to right is 200V. Household current is checked in the 200V setting.
The Klein model MM300 has two AC voltage scales. Turn the Off switch one click to the right and read up to 600VAC. The next click to the right reads up to 200VAC. Look for an S rotated 90 degrees above V.
To measure AC Voltage, turn the selector switch to the 1 o’clock position. The close-up image of the selector dial at the top of this webpage shows the multimeter in V AC mode. The Instructions/Assembly document under Info & Guides includes images of the selector switch position for all measurement modes.
Yes, this can detect resistance in single digits measurements.
