A:  The deadbolt portion of this Handleset is ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 Certified. The handle portion on the bottom is ANSI/BHMA grade 2 certified.

A:  After installation of the hardware, gently rub off any excess oil that remains on the exterior components using a clean dry terry towel or cheesecloth. A non-abrasive paste car wax can be applied to the lock. Liquid graphite or sewing machine oil can be sprayed into the cylinder (key way) and the latch. Use of other commercial lubricants not recommended. To clean, use water and soft soap only.

A:  I doubt you can the inside trim may be available from someone like a locksmith. I don’t know how interested Home Depot would be in special order and just the inside but I’m sure the inside is available as a kit

A:  The Hawthorne handleset fits on a door with a borehole size of 2-1/8" in diameter for the handle, and 2-1/8" or 1-1/2" for the deadbolt. It fits on a door thickness between 1-3/8" to 2-1/4", and for doors with a thickness between 1-7/8" to 2-1/4", we offer thick door kits. The latch fits a backset of either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4". If your door meets these requirements, then yes, you can install the handleset.

A:  The Kwikset Hawthorne is able to have an interior lever instead of the Juno door knob. In order to obtain an interior lever a special order will need to be made through any local Home Depot store at their special ordering desk. When choosing interior packs with levers please make sure to know whether you need the left-handed (LH) or right-handed (RH) for the door.
