A:  This model does not work with the SmartCode 270. The Kwikset Zigbee Convert is compatible with mechanical exterior deadbolts, as shown in this list: https://images.kwikset.com/is/content/Kwikset/CompatabiltyChart_KW_Convert_ENG.pdf

A:  This model is compatible with a 2 3/8" or 2 3/4" backset. The 5-inch latch, model # 82730, is intended for mechanical deadbolts. Although the 5-inch latch may fit on this mode, it's not recommended on Kwikset electronic deadbolts.

A:  This Kwikset Conver features Zigbee technology and works with Zigbee-compatible hubs or services, for example, Xfinity, Cox, Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen) and Samsung SmartThings. The app that you download on your smartphone to use with this lock would pertain to the system it's paired to.
