Questions and Answers for LANDMANN 23 in. Dia Pizza Kettle Charcoal Grill

A:  I have seen inserts from different manufacturers, but not Landmann. Check their website. I'm assuming you already have a kettle grill, but if not I could not recommend a better kettle grill than this one. I use without the pizza insert ALL the time, super quality, equal to if not better than a Weber! Well designed and thought out, heavy gage, absolutely love. I use it over my propane Nexgrill every time. Making spare ribs on it today, and I even have a nice propane upright smoker right next to it! Btw, makes a super, restaurant quality wood fired pizza, easily reaching 900F.

A:  You can buy any stone meant for a grill/ direct flame. I may try to increase the size up to two inches larger, but the airflow around this size seems optimized. The stone works amazingly well- no need to season, very easy to scrape clean.

A:  Hi flyfisher! The 23 in. diameter pizza kettle charcoal grill is only available in black and has a larger diameter than the Weber 22 in charcoal grill in black. These parts are not recommended to be used interchangeably. Both units have a porcelain-enamel, though the Weber brand is listed as a high-grade porcelain-enamel.

A:  Hi Bubba, I looked for the answer to this as well. It handles a 12"-14" pizza well... the stone is 16" diameter. It works great!
