A:  I didn't. I have an adjustable bed. The one thing I can say is there seems to have developed an "imprint" where I sit on the bed before getting up in the morning. I do rotate the mattress, but you can def see and feel where the imprint is. I've had it for 2 years.

A:  What I can certainly tell you is that it does not fit a queen sized bed base. The width is perfect but the length is a bit short by about 2.5 inches. I also bought my queen headboard and base from HD. Given the bed is very comfortable, it took some getting used to since I was transitioning from a regular spring bed. Be prepared to sink into the bed. So it’s a bit odd if you want to prop up to watch movies in bed, you have to have tons of back pillows for support or you’ll sink into the headboard base.
