A:  There is a wire frame under the shelf, but I would expect shampoo bottles, etc. to slip through the opening. I'm sure there would be an angle where they wouldn't fall through, but the combination of plastic shampoo bottles, the metal support, and water from the shower would result in them falling through frequently.

A:  NO the plastic tray is supported by molded bars that outline the outer perimeter of the tray. There is only open space in between..

A:  No, this will not hold a beer bottle.
