    A:  I bought about 7 weeks ago. I paid the full price. I was hoping that I could get the 10% discount coupon from HD by the mail like used to be but this time we didn't get any coupon. It seems this brand has no sale at all.

                  Q:I have a 5.0 Ah and a 3.0 ah LXT batteries I use for my Makita drills, can I get by using them and buying the tool only? How much power or cutting time will I miss out on with them vs 2 batteries that are each 5ah?

                  A:  Thank you for your question. The batteries will all depend on what you are cutting. Chain saw run time varies between hard woods and soft woods and size of material being cut. For many standard clean up jobs, 5.0 Ah batteries provide more than enough run time. The batteries will need to be recharged when one runs out, so if you are using different sized batteries the saw will operate until the smaller one needs a charge.

                    A:  Thank you for your question. The XCU04 is a 32cc power equivalent saw and is a rear handle saw ideal for working on the ground with applications such as log bucking. The XCU09 is a 30cc power equivalent saw and is a top handle saw ideal for working at heights and applications such as limbing a tree.
