Answer This Question
A: Hello JC, you would need to order the slab with the bore location as well as the hinge locations so it can be done at the factory, you can have the order placed at your Home Depot millwork desk , they may need to call in there dedicated Home Depot Masonite helpline. As far as i know I'm not aware of a Home Depot will machine door slabs in the store , however they usually have a kit which you can purchase which will make the cutouts easier.

A: It is not very easy to apply stain, the color does not come out even. This is an interior door, it is hollow, I doubt it is fire retardant

A: My 30x80 hollow core had wood on each side & bottom - only 1 deep at best. Top is MDF. 14-15 long blocks are glued in both sides for cutting lockset holes - ROUGHLY 34 down from top. Gap between block & side wood caused weak latch plate assembly!

A: Hello Dave, Yes, the maximum width allowable is 1/8" off of each side for this door.

A: Hello Denese, This door can be used as a barn door, however, adding material to it or taking it away will void the warranty on the door and Masonite cannot replace it if the integrity of the door is compromised.
