A:  You will need the required attic space(1100 sq. ft.), Exhaust(1008 sq. in. NFA)and clearance above the fan(20") to work properly.

A:  If it is to be used as an exterior wall mounted exhaust vent, the gravity louvered grille will not work. You would need a vertical style louvered, weatherproof grille.

A:  We do not advise using the whole house fan motors in a vertical position.

A:  When installed properly meeting the requirements, this runs at approximately 70 -72 decibels.

A:  I does include the off position on the pull chain.

A:  It might need to be replaced, be sure to keep windows open so the fan draws in outside air, if you don not have enough windows open it might also "slow-down" the motor.
