For our galvanized offering, we do not offer painted finishes but they can be painted. However, painted galvanized steel is very dependent on the stairs environment. We recommend allowing 2 - 3 months after installation to allow the galvanized stair to "settle in" to its environment. The individual pieces will fit but the box is 48" x 40" x 30" so components will need to be taken out of the box to fit through the doorway. Riser bars would work for this but are not offered as a standard component in these kits.
