Q:Some of my pavers now have a black haze over them, just the large ones?? Why is that and how do I clean it?

Answer This Question
A: That usually is moisture that is underneath the block coming to the top of the block and making them darker. What did you use under your pavers? Was it our recommendation of 4-6" of crushed stone and then 1" layer of sand? Is the patio pitched? Is there a gutter run off or water pooling in that area that may take longer for the water to evaporate? Is it a shaded area that does not get alot of sun to help if there is water under the block?

Answer This Question
A: If the pavers are installed per our recommendations, with a solid base of crushed stone 4"-6"' and a layer of sand. Hand tamped pavers into the sand to be sure there are no air voids below the pavers (they are fully supported underneath). Then you should be okay with the wheel chair. If it were a vehicle, I wouldn't recommend but customers use these under hot tubs without a problem.

A: they are all separate patio blocks. 12"x24" - there are 12 of these pieces in this pallet and 24"x24" there are 6 pieces of these in this pallet and you lay them down and they create the pattern that is in the photo!
