A:  Thank you for your interest in our Novik products, It is not recommended to paint Novik Products. Our Polymar products are developed with a proprietary formula and painting process that make them very low maintenance and stain resistant. Inherently, these same properties make it challenging for paint to adhere after the manufacturing process is completed. In addition, please be aware that if paint or any type of coating is applied to the product it does unfortunately void the warranty.

A:  Thanks for your interest in Novik Shake. Novik Shake should not be painted and, actually, painting our product will void the warranty. For long term performance and protection, Novik panels has a proprietary coating that is applied at the factory that is weather and stain resistant, so it never requires painting.

A:  It may be possible to paint however this comes in a variety of colors. It would be difficult to paint because the surface is not smooth. Actually the product is very realistic looking, like it truly is cedar. I would not recommend painting.

A:  Certainly I don't see why not, with paint qualities so high, I painted my vinyl siding on my home and it has held up for several years now, with no problems. These panels are more ridged with less expansion and contraction than vinyl siding. I've never painted them yet but if I would want to or need to I would try it, just remember that's just me. I don't know if it will work for you, it's your choice.
