A:  The screws that come with it should be long enough, but it will only work on a compatible hose. Some hoses are extra thick, and may not work with this mender.

              Answer This Question

A:  No issues at all with this product

              by|Apr 23, 2023

A:  I used it on a hose that connects to another hose. It was easy.  And no leaks where hose was attached! For me, I believe it would be easier to hook to my faucet because I would have something to hold while attaching to the faucet.  If it does not work, you can return it.

Q:Any chance this zinc hose mender will get stuck to a brass faucet the same way aluminum does? Not much point in using it if that's the case.

                  Answer This Question

A:  I wouldn't trust this 'faux' brass fitting to Not get stuck. For insurance, smear a material called "No-Alox' or a similar material HD does sell to protect that from happening. I keep 3 tubes of that stuff around for all these faux brass fittings.
