A:  I just wired it to the wall switch. Any controls are in the unit (Humidity, Speed, motion sensor)

Q:I had an electrician install two of these fans. Neither is sucking any air, verified by hold a tissue to the fan, it just drops. Also they are set at 10 minute delay and after one hour they were still running, having to turn them off with the wall switch.

    Answer This Question

A:  This fan has two different issues, The fan staying ON all the time is most likely set at a low RH relative humidity, the RH Dial should be set at 80%, if is set at 50% or lower the fan will not turn OFF. The second issue, is caused by high air restriction, caused by the way the duct was installed or by the EZ Bracket being installed incorrectly. Please give us a call at 866-292-7299 option 1 then option 2 for further assistance.

A:  Sounds like your damper is closed check to see if it is working . You can adjust settings for 2 minutes like I did and also you can change moister setting , I left mine at the manufactures setting . Hope this helps . Good luck

Q:Just had two of these fans installed by an electrician, one in each bathroom. Both fans have absolutely no suction verified by placing a tissue on the vent. Both vents that were replaced had suction so it’s not the duct. Any suggestions?

A:  Did you make sure that the tape was removed from the baffle in the duct adapter? If the baffle cannot open the fan will not exhaust the air from the room. See image below from installation instructions.

A:  Drop the cover down and remove it. You’ll see two switches that you can use to adjust the settings.

          by|Apr 20, 2021

A:  To adjust the humidity (RH) & TIMER (delay) remove the grill you will find the adjustments there. There is no adjustment for the motion sensor other than TIMER which is the delay before the fan turns back off if there’s no motion & the humidity is below its setting (we recommend 80%).

Q:If I leave the wall switch on the fan times off like it should and when I walk back in it turns on but it shuts off after a few seconds so I need to wave my arms to get it to turn back on? Shouldn't it restart the delay timer again and stay on for the preset time?

A:  You can adjust how long it stays on by removing the cover - and turning the run-time knob. There is a separate adjustment for run time when high humidity is detected.

A:  I wired mine off a GFCI plug, because it is close to the shower and as the instructions recommend. At the last minute, I put it on a switch so I can keep power off while wiring and not have to run down to the circuit braker. The instructions don't mention to put it on a switch (as best as I can remember). I would recommend putting it on a switch. I turn mine off in the winter because I want the moisture in the space. Of course it doesn't work when the switch is turned off.

A:  Directly wired , no on/off switch. If power Is off the sensors will not work.

Q:How do you get the motion sensor to work? Is it a special wiring? One of the youtube video said there’s a green light. I don’t see any green light. Do I leave the wall switch on for the delay timer? I installed 2 of them. Neither work. Please help. Thanks!

A:  Strictly motion and moisture. I put mine on a switch to regulate when this goes on. I don't need it to run in the winter.
