A: Quikrete Concrete Bonding Adhesive can be used to help stucco adhere over a brick surface we surface. We suggest that the surface be pressure washed to clean the area and the surface not be painted or sealed.

Q:Can this be used when doing a dry application of Quikrete Fast-Setting Concrete Mix? Meaning, can I apply this to an old concrete block, pour the Fast-setting mix around the old block dry, then add water to the dry mix?

A: When using the Quikrete Concrete Bonding Adhesive we suggest that the concrete be mixed prior to applying it over the Concrete Bonding Adhesive. Mixing the concrete with water first will allow it to activate the Concrete Bonding Adhesive to ensure that you permanently bond to the current concrete surface. A: This is not a direct answer to your question but may be helpful. Given that recap has a limited effective thickness and my concrete repair depth exceeded recap depth, I used this before the concrete patch and will apply recap to get a nice smooth finish
