A:  No, it is not rated as food safe.

A:  I don’t know ,however I DO know that if you don’t drain it before winter it WILL freeze and split.

A:  No, they are not set up to do that. But hypothetically you could simply drill a hole in the side of the unit lower than where the water enters the first unit and run a second pipe to the second unit. Once it is full it would back feed into the first unit. One thing to note is they may be flat back but mine bulges substantially out when full.

A:  They are not "set up" that way, however it would be easy to connect them with the supplied tubing by simply cutting a hole at the top of the opposite side of the inlet tube in the first barrel.

A:  I'm not sure what you are asking. The dimensions of the barrel are listed in the descriptions. If you are looking at spaces to install, we have ours setting on 4 basic concrete blocks. You will need a reasonably flat space and 8 blocks. 2 layers of 4 blocks. The barrel is gravity fed so you need to have it high enough to provide a good flow.
