We do understand that if the accessory might loosen up due wear and tear, you may use temporary fastener for extra locking such as duct tape. A:  This accessory was not available at any three Homes Depot stores. Had to be special order through Homedepot.com

A:  Hello Jacob, The 4-gallon vacuum with the Premium Auto Detailing Kit comes with a 1-1/4 inch hose. Unfortunately, we don't have an adapter to allow the fitting. But, you have the option to get a 2-1/2 inch hose such as the LA2520 if you need to use this hose grip. A:  Honestly, I have no clue ... I needed the 2-1/2 and never considered a 1-7/8ths ... hope they'll make one so you can have it, otherwise I'd switch to a 2-1/2. Hope this helps ....
