A: Hi, yes, these .27 caliber loads can be used in any .27 caliber tool that accepts strip loads of this nature. Although we recommend using the system of Ramset Loads, Pins, and Tools all together, this product is compatible with most .27 caliber tools.

Q:Do any of you powder activated guns have an adjustment that allows you to adjust the power of the shot at the gun? Example, if you are using a Red Load but only need a Green Load you can make an adjustment on the gun that reduces the power of the load.

A: the amount of powder in the loads makes the difference. The red ones will sink a 2 1/2 inch pinn through a 2x4 into concrete. Whichever size you decide, get the p[inns with the washer on them for added fastening strength.

A: The different color Ramset .27 caliber strip loads have different power levels and are recommended for use in different substrates. The red strip loads are the most powerful and are recommended for use in hard concrete and steel. The yellow strip loads are the second most powerful and are recommended for solid concrete. The green strip loads are the least powerful and are recommended for use in concrete block. All Ramset .27 caliber strip loads can be used with the Ramset SA270, Cobra+ and Viper tools.
