A: Ramset Powder Actuated Tools are only for use to fasten our hardened steel pins to concrete or steel. These tools are not for use with any other applications.
A: I do believe so . I use it in my hilti gun without problems.
A: I am not sure of that model, But my hilti gun takes these loads without any problems and advances the loads as it should.
A: These loads can be used with any .27 caliber, strip load powder actuated tool, including the Hilti DX2.
A: Hi Smitty, In this instance, a .27 caliber tool with either yellow or red .27 caliber powder loads may be your best option. This specific concrete may be too strong for .22 caliber fastening, and in this case we would recommend a Ramset Cobra+ with a .27 caliber load. Sometimes, the concrete's PSI increases over time and may cause for more a more difficult time fastening. It is also possible that there is some sort of aggregate or material within the concrete causing difficulty driving to proper depth. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call customer service at 877-489-2726. Thank you for using Ramset!
A: You have to press down really hard before you hit it with the hammer. Concrete is a pain to drive a nail into with a small hand held hammer fired gun. If you don't have hundreds of nails to drive a hammer drill and some good concrete screws will give you less headache.
A: if you plan to use the gun often then do spend the money, its easier to use and quieter, but for small project just use 2 bullets, with hard concrete these days sometime .27 needs to be used twice , espesially with longer nails, tip. hold its straight as possible
A: Hi, yes, these .27 caliber loads can be used in any .27 caliber tool that accepts strip loads of this nature. Although we recommend using the system of Ramset Loads, Pins, and Tools all together, this product is compatible with most .27 caliber tools.

A: yellow doesnt have as much powder as the Red ones. Red is more powerful
A: the amount of powder in the loads makes the difference. The red ones will sink a 2 1/2 inch pinn through a 2x4 into concrete. Whichever size you decide, get the p[inns with the washer on them for added fastening strength.
A: Colors represent the strength of the loads, red strongest, yellow less, green less than yellow, brown even less. I do not believe brown loads are available ti .27 Cal.
A: The different color Ramset .27 caliber strip loads have different power levels and are recommended for use in different substrates. The red strip loads are the most powerful and are recommended for use in hard concrete and steel. The yellow strip loads are the second most powerful and are recommended for solid concrete. The green strip loads are the least powerful and are recommended for use in concrete block. All Ramset .27 caliber strip loads can be used with the Ramset SA270, Cobra+ and Viper tools.
A: Read the box! It tells you what the colors mean.
A: yes the power is differnt, green low , red high
A: I'm pretty sure the different colors are different cal. Green = .22, Yellow = .25, and Red = .27.
A: Color signifies power, too much power will ruin your nails to little and the longer nails wont go in the full way.
