A:  Mario Thank you for your interest in Root Pouch products. In my search I found that a 36" wide planter is reccommended for an 8' peach tree. Our #65 gallon is 32" wide and 18" tall. That would most likely work for you. Our #100 gallon is 38" wide and 20" tall so the tree will be able to be in that pot longer. As far as how much soils needed.. #65 gallon needs 8.75 cubic feet of soil #100 gallon needs 1.5 cubic feet of soil Hope that helps Thank you Root Pouch

For self watering pots you will need to use one of our fabrics with natural fibers so that the water can be absorbed into the fabric thus watering the roots of your plant.
