A:  I recommend doing this as a base, and using big stones on top. So the soil can absorb the water better

A:  Matt, No. There are not any coatings on the All-Purpose Gravel.

A:  It's difficult to know what is meant by regular gravel. Typically, Sakrete All-Purpose gravel would be considered a gravel that does not contain any additives that will serve different purposes of use.

A:  It's River Rock gravel so the rocks are smoother and more consistent sizes. Gravel have straight edges and is often grey in color and less elegant and come in small to medium sizes.

A:  Will to pour an area with All-Purpose Gravel 10' x 8' x 4" will take approximately 54 bags of gravel.

A:  Jeff to cover an area 4' x 6' x 3" will take approximately 12 bags of All Purpose Gravel.

A:  Michael, to pour an area 11' x 9' x 3" inches will take approximately 50/60lbs. bags of gravel

A:  Zeru. To pour an area 18' x 31' x 3" with gravel will take approximately 279/60lbs. bags.

A:  One bag fills 0.6 cu ft., so 18x31x0.25=139.5 cu ft. 139.5/0.6=232.5. You need 233 bags. 

A:  Daniel, there is not a specific gravel to advise using for setting a fence post.
