A:  Hello, The SharkBite 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect PVC IPS x 3/4 in. MIP Brass Adapter Fitting could be threaded into cast bronze as long cast bronze has FIP threads. A:  Hello, SharkBite part # UIP134A is intended for use with 3/4" Schedule 40, 80 or 120 PVC pipe but this fitting is not suitable for use with copper. For copper pipe we recommend the use of SharkBIte part # U134LFA which has a pipe insertion depth of 1-1/8". A:  Hello, SharkBite part # UIP120A is suitable for use with 1/2" Schedule 40, 80 or 120 PVC and Schedule 40 or 80 CPVC on the push-to-connect side of the fitting. The other side of this fitting has 1/2" MNPT (male national pipe tapered) threads. If you need to transition to PEX tubing we would recommend the use of SharkBite part # UIP4008A (SKU # 1001563271). A:  I prefer to use a Shark bite flex hose with shut off, however the 3/4 copper fitting may work if the application permits.
