Q:Hello, searching to match existing flooring and replace carpet in master bedroom. New home. I have a box left over from the builder with Shaw item #5U41500529. Is this Shaw Fraser Bayside the same color as the Delray Oceanside #00529? Thanks for the help.

          Q:I ordered an entire box as a sample, and 90% of the pieces look significantly lighter that the image provided (and much more visible wood grain). I expected variation, but not a significantly lighter floor than pictured. Can anyone share pictures of it installed?

In this particular style, no two planks are alike, and often you will need to open several boxes to get the right mix for the install.                 Q:Hi, interested in this engineered hardwood floor. Got two questions on the production specifications: 1. For the installation, spec only lists Nail Down. But in the product review, other installation options are also addressed, such as floating which is what I am planning to DIY at home. 2. Underlayment options says "Underlayment is not required". Does that mean the floor comes with pad? We are going to install the floor on the concrete surface. Thanks, Chad

For the floating installation we recommend the use of a 6 mil Poly underlayment or a 2 in 1 underlayment.
