A:  That doesn't answer the question and my local Home Depot doesn't have one or know anything about them. Please try again to answer the question. Thanks.

A:  Nothing that you will get...or that matters. For display.

A:  The white part is not a part of the tool itself. Please contact your local Home Depot for further specifications.

A:  It's a magnet used to hang the tool for the photograph so it wouldn't show a shadow. For some reason the graphic artist did not edit it out of the photo.

A:  That's simply a magnet for display purposes.

A:  The tag that came with mine simply says "forged carbon steel."

A:  The front of the tag that is on the tool says somewhat prominently on the front: "Single Piece Forged Steel". However on the back in smaller print it says "Forged Carbon Steel".

A:  I don't think so. Stanley only says that it's forged steel. As a Fire Lieutenant, I abused the heck out of mine for 12 years and It survived. I bought another one to give to a friend. I'm taking mine into retirement with me.
