When the unit is not in use, we recommend charging it at once every 30 days (or at least once every 60 days) as expressed in the owner’s manual. Lack of charging cycles is not a manufacturing defect and should not be stored with a depleted battery. Not charging or maintaining these products allows the internal battery to malfunction. If the unit hasn’t been charged often or completed a full charge, we recommend charging it for 24 to 40 hrs.
