Q:What is the correct weight for the 4ft ladder? Your listing shows 26lb which is heavier than the 6ft and 8ft. That doesn't seem to make sense. Please check and update.

Q:The front and back of the Ladder does not want to open up (spread apart). They seem to be locked in place by two yellow taps (one on each side) near the bottom of the Ladder. How to you release the tabs without having to lay the ladder down on the ground?

A: The answer that type I is light duty and type II if for contractors is simply wrong. More than likely the types are based of ansi ratings, so type 1 is heavy duty and type 2 is medium duty. Construction is grade 1A or 1AA. https://tinyurl.com/yc88y4et
