A:  Yes it will hold a screw and nail. For the screws, we drilled a starter hole and then suirted a bit of wood glue into the hole. My do-it-yourself partnew is sometimes a bit over the top, but better to be safe than sorry.

A:  Yes, this product can be screwed.

A:  Yes, but only if you pre-drill a hole, and if it's for very light duty. The main material is just particle board, which isn't intended to be used to hold wood screws. In all candor, if you need this to hold screws, you might want to look at another kind of material.

A:  Drill through the boards into wall studs and use correct length screws.
