Questions and Answers for YARDMAX 28 Ton 208cc Full Beam Log Splitter

A:  Overseas...China? for the splitter and USA for the engine I believe.

A:  Both the log splitter and engine are Made in China.

A:  Not sure what their problem is. I ordered and had my delivered and they assembled it. I just bought it 3 weeks ago.

A:  Nick, we were out of stock of this item for a little while. Inventory is loaded into the system. It should be able to be ordered shortly.

A:  Request the free home delivery. the shipping crate is easy to open. Assembly is easy for TWO MEN.

A:  I have not seen these in stock in the stores, I had to order mine, took like 9-10 days to come in and I picked it up at the store. If delivery is available I would have it delivered as the crate weighs 550-600 pounds and has to be on the ground to assemble.

A:  Richard, there isn't a performance difference between the full and half beam. The half beam is more compact with a smaller wheel base. The half beam also has the control handle on the top as opposed to the side.

A:  Half -beam is great if you don't have 12 inch diameter slices to lift. Otherwise, get the full beam for optional swinging into vertical splitting from the ground for the big-boys.

A:  The half beam you lose the advantage to use the upright position. If have big logs they will be heavy to lift.

A:  We do have inventory and our system is showing that Home Depot also has inventory. Hopefully their system will update soon and show inventory. We apologize for the inconvenience.

A:  Cycle time matters for efficiency I.e. how long it will take you to split a load. 13 is ok but the champion is 11 and $150 less. I opted for that last season and am completely satisfied.

A:  Comes preloaded with hydraulic oil, and the kit contains a quart of engine oil. The cycle time is very sweet. Get a helper to run the handle while you load/unload after the ram works.

A:  Mine included hydraulic oil. I did, however, have to add engine oil. It won't start if the oil is too low (engine feature). As to the cycle time: Does it matter? I don't think you have to "wait" for the entire cycle before you push the handle down again.

A:  It ships with hydraulic fluid prefilled in the hydraulic tank. Engine oil is not included. The pump size is 14GPM and then cycle time is 13.2 seconds.

A:  Ask an associate at your local store. Usually they will be able to assemble it for you if you ask.

A:  No they do not assemble it.They will load it for you onto a truck or trailer.

A:  I just picked one up today that was shipped to the store and told them I needed it assembled. Had to wait a week but it really was no hassle at all getting them to do it

A:  Unfortunately, the store will not assemble the log splitter for you.

A:  I ordered it online AT THE STORE with the help of an associate. Before I agreed to the purchase, I asked about assembly and they said it was included. It might depend on how you order it though???

A:  I do not believe they stock these in stores, I had to order mine. Took about 10 days to come in for in store pickup. If home delivery is an option I would take it, crate weight is 550-600 pounds and needs to be on the ground to assemble.
