A:  No, I have mine against the wall and it does not brush or scratch the wall even when it is locked in the opern position. BTW, I love this trash can, it works, it holds a lot if you get the 55, it's elegant. I just bought a 2nd one.

A:  No, it does not rub, scratch, or scuff. I have mine set against a cabinet and have no problem at all; not even when it is locked open to get trash out. 

A:  Not at all. It’s very light and leaves no marks. We love ours!

A:  The action on the lid hasn’t scuffed my wall. I give it come clearance next to my cabinet so no marking there. I however do have black from the bottom ring around the garbage bottom. It transfered onto my hardwood floors. I haven’t been able to remove the black smudge marks. Overtime or does continue to make more but I still have the garbage can.

A:  There is a removable plastic bin that is vented on both sides towards the bottom to allow air to escape so bag goes in place easily as no trapped air. Great when use a bag but needs to be taped or caulked over if use the bin for recyclables with no bag as I do for one of mine. Mine came with sample bags from manufacturer. I need to stretch the top of my drawstring bags before using them in bin or else it rips the bags. Easily done and works great if do so.

A:  Not sure what this question is asking. the answer is No. it is a metal basket with a removable plastic waste basket inside. You need to use garbage bags inside the waste basket. Or not, but you will have to wash the basket frequently.

A:  No. there is no designated space. the inside bucket is almost as wide as the can. maybe, you can stick something on the inside of the can to hold some bags, but not more than an inch between can and basket.

A:  No. Simple Human does have a different model of the step can that has a liner pocket. This model does not.

A:  No. There is no storage place for them. What I liked is it is weel made, has wheels, a handle, stainless steel, and it is designed to allow the bag to fill the container as you put trash in. There are air displacement grooves for that.
