I would think this sill nose should be a little bigger (depth) , so you can trim to fit without having to add a strip of material. When you have storm windows it is hard to cut the old sill without removing the storm.

A great product.

Carpenter bees burrowed in original sill nose. Replaced with this pvc nose. Fit perfectly, attached with stainless trim screws, caulked and painted. Looks great and bees will not destroy.

When combined with the matching sill, this is a very weatherproof unit. It is easy to work with and is very durable. I've had 2 in place for over a year and they look great.

It works. I wish it were wider and cheaper.

I had to replace some wood window sills that had developed dry rot. Because I don't own a table saw to make new wood sills, I looked at various hardware stores (online) to see if something was available with the correct angles. I found the Royal Mouldings here at Home Depot's website and the dimensions were very close to what I needed. I later found that the new mouldings were a perfect fit. Before I painted the new mouldings in order to match the window frame, I lightly sanded the vinyl so that the paint would have a better bond. It turned out to be a great success.

Product would have been fine if it was larger. I had to cut sills to match my other windows so I had to return this one. I actually liked the product. If I had been replacing all of my sills and making the needed changes to the rest of the trim to match it would have been a great product. However, changing everything to match would have been a much larger project than just cutting the needed sill from a 4x4.

An excellent alternative to wood in applications that are frequently moist and receive limited sunlight. The item is of a solid, white material that can be sawed, shaped, and fastened in the same manner as wood. No painting or sanding needed. Its longevity and freedom from maintenance make it more economical that pressure-treated or plain wood.

Perfect replacement for the rot-prone wood sill nosing on our windows.

Material is easy to work with, and doesn't dent easily (from off-target hammer strikes). I had to trim parts of the profile to retrofit it to the windows I was repairing, but that was easy enough on a table saw. I would definitely recommend it.

I've been using this product for years in Kansas City and it works great especially what's a seal that's made for it also

this fits together with the larger sill piece but the profile makes installation a little complex

It was the part I needed. I just had to splice it to make the 12’ piece I needed. It would have been better if your stock was in the 16’ pieces rather than 7’.
