This was a good base for a standard umbrella. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done when full of sand.

WHO HAS SAND AT THEIR HOMES. HARD TO OPEN IF I DID.

Good product for the cost. It was easy to fill the base with sand.

The screw is not very effective at keeping the umbrella upright and attached. The first decent wind and my umbrella was in the neighbors' yard.

It is a cheap plastic mold. It is beyond me how Home Depot can sell such garbage.

It’s very easy and light to handle. Holds strong.

It was inexpensive and made in the USA, and will serve the purpose, but it wasn’t what I was hoping for.

They wouldn’t hold up the umbrella

Perfect size and shape for under the table. I didn't realize that you filled it with sand (didn't read that part of the description) but once I got some sand it was easy to fill and is very sturdy!

this is a poor product, poorly constructed of limited utility. The screw intended to hold the umbrella shaft in place was not aligned properly and did a poor job holding the shaft in place. This was before the poorly assembled thread for the screw came apart within less than a month of having this product. Do not buy this product. I would have preferred to buy a stand and the umbrella as a combined product to ensure compatibility of the two items but this was not the case when I made my purchase

Filled with play sand, but even wutj the umbrella closed, when the first strong wind came, it turned over and cracked the base.

Cannot get the screw right enough to prevent the umbrella from spinning in the wind.

This thing is a piece of junk! I'm taking it back!

It is very poor quality plastic and doesn't holds an umbrella. The biggest problem is the screw and nut system tied to the plastic.
